During our stay at Chateau de Blomac, we were warmly welcomed by Jacqueline, the gracious owner. The beautifully restored chateau exuded charm and elegance, with spacious rooms offering picturesque garden views. The complimentary welcome drinks provided a nice touch, allowing us to relax in the cozy drawing room and soak in the ambiance of this historic property.While the housekeeping and amenities were satisfactory, we found the lack of on-site dining options on certain days a bit inconvenient. However, Jacqueline kindly offered to drive us to a nearby restaurant, ensuring we were well taken care of.The communal dinners hosted by Fred and Jacqueline were a highlight, offering delightful company, delicious local cuisine, and excellent wine pairings. The personal touch of a special birthday dinner arranged for me was truly memorable and appreciated.Chateau de Blomac offers a unique and intimate experience with attentive hosts and a charming setting. While the value may tip towards the higher end, the personalized service and culinary delights make it a worthwhile indulgence for a special occasion or a peaceful retreat.
